We have one of the best KIDS BJJ programs in the World! Our Kids BJJ Program promotes self-esteem, self-confidence, character development and a physical outlet with discipline, cooperation with other children, respect for peers and adults, perseverance and a healthy lifestyle.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a dynamic martial arts style, and it will help your kids to learn realistic bully-proofing and a self-defense system that they can use for the rest of their lives! We promote a martial arts training environment that emphasizes physical activity while having fun and performing exercises and drills to build confidence, strength, improve coordination, flexibility and endurance.

Kids BJJ classes start as scheduled; students should come in ready for classes; wearing their uniform.


(White, Blue and Purple Belts)
The VT BJJ Intro program is the absolute ideal way to get started in BJJ. All you need is an open mind & the desire to learn. You will learn exactly the things you need to learn when you first get started.

The comprehensive VT BJJ Intro Program is your starting point for a complete attitude transformation; it incorporates self-defense techniques, takedowns, punching and kicking and covers with a realistic approach the fundamentals of self-defense including takedowns; clinching and holding techniques and basic submissions in a friendly, safe and positive environment. No martial arts skills or experience required.

Registration in the BJJ Intro Program includes ONE MONTH (4) classes and the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training uniform (which you get to keep when you're done)! After the (4) BJJ Intro Classes you can decide whether you'd like to continue training with us at the end of the program, too! Best of all – you don't need any equipment to get started! The minimum stuff to begin will be provided to you before your first class. There's no obligation whatsoever you have nothing to lose. This is really an unbeatable deal, and an amazing way to get started!


(White, Blue and Purple Belts)

The VT BJJ Basics Program was created to ensure that all students will improve their Jiu-Jitsu journey with a strong foundation. Students will build balance and coordination with mobility and agility drills and understand Jiu-Jitsu strategy. The curriculum focuses on techniques from every position, as well as core concepts in Jiu-Jitsu practice that will aid in the student’s development and progress.

Students will also, learn fundamental knowledge to apply control, submissions and escapes. Students will learn to escape head-locks and choke-holds, basic takedowns and realistic self-defense. Students will have a clear understanding of what the core positional hierarchy of Jiu-Jitsu is from the top to the bottom (mount escapes, mount position, knee on the belly, side-control and back mount). On top, they will learn the basic path towards the mount and back controls as well as early escape positions from the bottom.

They will also learn transitions between such positions like guard sweeps, basic guard passing and fundamental controlling techniques. Armed with Jiu-Jitsu skills the student will learn to maintain control and dominate important positions that lead to plentiful submission opportunities. The submission is the last aspect that will be prevalent from most ground techniques, the fundamentals of increased body leverage, chokes and arm-locks; the program provides a methodology for increased Jiu-Jitsu knowledge and a solid understanding of what Jiu-Jitsu is.


(White, Blue and Purple Belts)

All students will acquire basic knowledge of the most fundamentals self-defense techniques in Jiu-Jitsu. Students will embrace the power of learning (methods) to learn realistic and potentially life-saving skills and understand concepts like Jiu-Jitsu leverage; chain of positions, striking range, distance control; combat skills and techniques.

The BJJ Essential Self-Defense Program provides students with strategy, tools, methods, mindset and effective skills , that make students capable of protecting themselves during an attack. Defense against punches, kicks, hand grabs, head-locks; transition to the ground and a variety of different self-defense situations. You need to practice fighting skills; to think it's unnecessary; is a complete delusion. Living Strong!


(Blue Belts and Above)

The Advanced Program gives students the opportunity to take their game to the next level through an in-depth exploration of more Advanced Jiu-Jitsu techniques and instruction. 

Students will learn to use a variety of advanced guard skills (Scissors Guard; Dela Riva; Half-Guard; X-Guard; Butterfly Guard; K Guard, etc.); set-ups and drills; position and submission; passing guard and practice a variety of situations that may arise during a Jiu-Jitsu competition match.

Program curriculum includes instruction on advanced jiu-jitsu techniques and positions; attacks; defense and escapes from every position; and live sparring. 

The final aim of our BJJ Advanced Program is to inculcate the principle of maximum efficiency; whether applied to the art of attack and defense or to refining and perfecting the use of mind and body for that purpose.

Participation in this class is restricted to blue belts and above.


(No Martial Arts or Boxing Skills required)

Boxing is a great way to stay in shape! Whether you have never trained Boxing before; and want to have the best training experience as possible.

Our Modern Boxing Program helps students to improve speed, reflexes, endurance and cardio-respiratory conditioning; learn fundamentals of boxing; technical striking geared towards the beginner or intermediate student and will teach you to develop footwork and coordination; timing and balanced movements on your feet while also sharpening technique and skills; build fighting strategy, while developing power and balance.

Our World Class Instructors and Coaches focus on safety skills in a friendly & stress-free training environment. Our professional trainers will ensure you that you will be doing what’s most effective to achieve your fitness goals and you will receive the individual attention needed to help you to reach your goals. No martial arts or boxing skills required.

Our Boxing Program provides a proven effective introduction to the art of attack and defense with the fists as a combat sport. Students will experience results that go beyond gains in strength, flexibility, fitness, confidence and self-defense skills. You are going to enjoy yourself!

Required Gear: Team T-shirt or Rash-guard; Boxing Gloves and Hand-Wraps.

Recommended Gear: Jump Rope and mouth-guard.


(All Belt Ranks)

The BJJ NO-GI & MMA Program is offered in both fundamental and advanced classes. Students will have the opportunity to learn the same modern jiu-jitsu being taught in Gi classes, but learn how to adapt them to No-Gi situations. 

The program also provides an introduction to technical striking geared towards the beginner or intermediate student and will teach you how to develop footwork, coordination, timing and balanced movements on your feet while also sharpening technique, developing coordination, power and balance. Build a solid foundation base; strong center of gravity and technical skills.

VT BJJ instructors will also cover range of defense and striking strategy as it applies to Self-Defense (Strikes, Kicks, Clinch & Takedowns drills) and Combat-Style Martial Arts submissions. VT BJJ will hold practice sessions to increase physical conditioning and technical skill building drills. Full-contact scrimmages are not allowed.

This program incorporates basic tumbling and calisthenics skills in addition to strikes, kicks, takedowns and self-defense techniques. It focuses on movement around and responsiveness with your partner. 

No-Gi Curriculum includes: Attacks, defensive techniques, and escapes from every position. Position and submission situations and sparring.

Required Gear: Revolution Team Rash-Guard; Boxing Gloves and Shin/foot Pads.

Recommended Gear: Jump Rope and mouth-guard.

Family Jiu-Jitsu classes create an opportunity for time spent together with those we love most; our children. They give parents and children alike a chance to strengthen character, learn valuable life skills, and develop a more meaningful relationship with each other.

Spending time learning together give parents a skill set that helps them to be patient, loving, and supportive to their children.

(4-6 Weeks Training Program)
Achieve a level of peak performance; physical fitness (Strength, Endurance and Movement Skill) and mental toughness (Performance, Endurance and Fatigue Counter-Measures) that is commensurate with military missions.
